Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from the Rosie Pirate clan! This year was a lot of fun because all of the kids understood how to get more candy. However, they were a little too focused on Dum Dums and Tootsie Rolls. Come on kiddos - get the good stuff next year!

Hitting up our neighbor's house.

Off we go!

We have a sheriff that lives down the street from us. Weston just wanted to play in his car.

Gray wanted to make sure that our frog had lots of candy!

Sweet Addie passing out the candy

We got to trick or treat with our friends, Lisa and Chase, and their sweet little gal Aubrey!

Pirates ho!

Being brave going up to the scary house

Happy Halloween friends!

Fall Festival

Austin and Addie had their Fall Festival at school today. This included a petting zoo, costumes and games. They loved it!

My little pirates (these outfits lasted about 2 seconds and then they were just kids in shirts).

Addie getting ready to play with the animals.

Feeding a piglet

We were told to keep Weston home from preschool to avoid hurting his eye more so he got to tag along to the petting zoo.

Austin hanging with a goat.

Feeding the goat.

Feeding a llama. The llama was by far his fave. This llama would steal a cup a food, knock it back in one gulp and throw it on the ground. Austin thought this was hilarious.

Happy Fall!

Bathtub - 1, Weston - 0

Weston earns the title of first kid with stitches! Tonight during bath time, West slipped getting out of the bath tub. I heard John tell Addie to come get me so I ran in there to find Weston with blood dripping down his face and a HUGE lump under his eye. John took him to urgent care and they quickly told him to head to Children's Medical Center. He picked me up and off we went!

This kid is all smiles. One of the admin gals gave him a Batman sticker - that's all he needs!

Rocking his cool bracelet

Playing at an activity table while we wait

Chatting with Daddy while we wait

Watching a little Mickey Mouse Clubhouse while we wait

Chilling with Mickey while we wait (and Daddy naps)

Still waiting (starting to notice the theme?)

Finally we're back to a room. Where we wait (and Daddy takes another nap)

After about 4.5 hours, we finally got to head back home. Weston was a trooper for being kept up so much later than his bedtime. Instead of doing stitches, the doctor decided to use glue. They gave Weston a relaxer which turned him into a 27.5 pound newborn. He had no neck control which was sad/funny all at the same time.

When he started to come to, they gave him a popsicle to make sure he could keep it down. John and I died laughing at the poor kid. He was like a drunk college frat guy just trying to eat but continually missing his mouth. Hilarious!!

Another New Puppy?!?

Because our house isn't crazy enough with 4 adults, 4 kids and 2 puppies, John and I have decided to buy a dog too! We bought a pyredoodle that lives in Nashville. I have fallen in love with the Great Pyrenees but not so much with how much they shed. Introduce the pyredoodle to solve the problem!

We bought the sweet little girl on the left. She will be 8 weeks old on November 30th so we'll have to wait!

She's the one on the right in this pic.

We cannot wait for her to get here!

2 Year Checkup

Grayson and Weston took over Centennial Pediatrics today for their 2 year check up.

Grayson weighed in at 28 lbs, 2 oz (66th percentile), is 35.3 inches tall (72nd percentile) and his head is 19.5 inches (82nd percentile). Doctor G said he is a big boy and definitely a busy boy. He got an A+!

Weston weighed in at 27 lbs, 9 oz (59th percentile), is 34.3 inches tall (42nd percentile) and his head is 19.5 inches (82nd percentile). Doctor G said he's growing tall (he's up 3.5 inches from last appointment) and that he's doing a great job. Weston also got an A+!

Dr. G said we're supposed to start working on potty training in the next couple of months. Hopefully they will be as easy to do this with as the A-Team!

New Puppies!

My parents have added two new kiddos to their family. Introducing Bella Gracie Princess Clarabelle and Major Dragon Scruffy Puppy West! They are sweet little sheepadoodles and our kids are excited!

Addison LOVES them.

Addie reading to the puppies.

We love these sweet little puppies so much and are so excited to add them to the house!

Crafting Fun

I love anything arts and crafts. Our kids are to the age that they like it too. For Halloween, we made masks.

Weston, aka Frankenstein

Addie the witch

Austin the pumpkin

Grayson the kitty cat (and the shirtless)

Happy 2nd Birthday!

Today is the day. Happy 2nd birthday to Grayson and Weston!! We wanted to start the day off with fun so we hung balloons and streamers on their door.

Here they come!

Weston and Grayson thought the streamers were pretty cool.

The balloons were even cooler.

Weston rocking some spectacular bed head.

After another round of Happy Birthday, the boys blew out the candles on their birthday muffins.

Grayson and Weston, I cannot believe that you are two!! I unfortunately packed your sock monkeys in our storage unit so we can't take pictures with them. But here you are in your adorable dump truck shirts! The two of you are every bit of crazy, rambunctious, sweet, independent and funny 2 year olds. You love trains and cars and dancing and playing with Austin and Addie. Y'all are still great eaters and have caught up to your sister in weight. You actually like broccoli and green beans - yay! You are great night time sleepers most of the time but are decent with naps. Y'all are talking more and are putting sentences in it. Most of the time I can understand you but other times, Addison acts as translator. Y'all have started the terrible 2's and can be quite defiant. But you always start and end the day with hugs and sweetness.

Grayson - you are so fun to watch. The best way to describe it is that you attack everything you do with gusto. There is no quiet voice for you and for you the crazier the better! You love to jump off of things and run around yelling as loudly as possible. You like to race your firetruck around in circles. Every once in a while, I'll find you in a corner with a book or drawing at the table. But typically you are trying to figure out how to stack the books on top of the table and jump from them. You love your "man-purse" right now. You like to tuck things in it and carry it everywhere - it makes me laugh! You are typically in a good mood but man, if you are feeling particular about something, you can throw epic temper tantrums! Our house would be so much tamer without you and I just cannot imagine my world without your loud, wild self in it!

Weston - you are our sweet, temperamental and funny child. You have this infectious laugh that I will never get tired of hearing. If you notice we are laughing at something you are doing, you'll perform even more - you are quite the entertainer. 99.99% of the time I will find a car or train in your hand. You are slightly obsessed! Another obsession - hats. You love this orange hat and wear it quite a bit. When you are in the mood, you give the best kisses and are a great snuggler. You are easy going most of the time but dang - if you are in a bad mood, you are in a BAD mood! Hopefully we'll breeze through this phase quickly! Weston, you are such an amazing little guy. You bring so much happiness into our lives!

Sweet boys - I cannot even believe how quickly the last two years have flown by. My babies are growing up way too quickly! We love you both so much and love the little personalities you add to our clan!! Happy Birthday!

W & G's Birthday Party

Grayson and Weston celebrated the big 2 at My Gym. We went with a construction theme because the boys are obsessed anything that involves dump trucks!

I am absolutely in love with the way their cake turned out. It was super yummy too!

Addie hanging with her friend Eden. Ready to get the party started!!

John hanging out with Eden's daddy - literally!

Weston and Ava playing

Weston riding the zip line

Grayson had a blast!

Lots of kiddos!

Singing happy birthday to my "babies"

This boy had so much fun he passed out on the floor!

We had so much fun celebrating our two year olds. I cannot believe that another year has passed by. Thanks to all of our friends and family that made this day perfect!
